NEWS: Early start time this Friday!

This Friday, December 23rd, doors open at 7:00pm for an hour of prayer and reflection by candlelight, followed by distribution of food and warm clothing in the Civic Center area.

sfMEALSonHEELS believes that God loves everyone, including those who are struggling with homelessness and addiction. This belief calls us to exemplify that love through the hot food and listening ears we provide on Friday nights. But the greatest need is very basic and easy to meet. Most of the people we meet need to feel human again -- they need to be recognized by society, smiled at, listened to with sincerity, prayed for with earnestness, and hugged tightly with love. It is a first step of empowerment, and one that sfMEALSonHEELS is committed to initiating.
